Description

Our Honeyed Golden Needle is a truly rare and exquisite wild black tea from the high mountains of Yunnan, grown at altitudes over 1800 meters and crafted from the small-leaf purple tea varietal known for containing over 300% more anthocyanins than traditional cultivars. This ancient tea, harvested from wild trees aged between 100 to 200 years, yields a strikingly unique tea with a signature needle shape that is uncommon even among Yunnan’s most premium teas.

The dry leaves exude an immediate orange blossom sweetness, unfolding into deeper notes of fermented dried plum and finishing with the cool, refreshing breath of wild mint. Once steeped, the liquor glows a deep golden hue, offering a vibrant and complex cup. The initial sip releases the natural sweetness of fresh-pressed sugarcane, followed by a smooth mouthfeel that leaves a lingering honeyed floral aroma on the palate.

The wild character of this tea is unmistakable. Its aftertaste is long, clean, and deeply satisfying, with a persistent orchid fragrance that remains even after multiple infusions. For connoisseurs seeking an authentic expression of wild ancient-tree black tea, this is an experience not to be missed; a perfectly balanced interplay of floral, sweet, and cooling forest notes that lingers long after the last sip.

There is no way to describe the tea - it is indescribable when I had it made that early crispy snow morning and few sips later I was in the bamboo forests in Yunnan(spiritually) near the ancient trees and there it was the whisper of the tea farmers.....who were planting these little shrubs.....hundred of years ago..... and today I had the product of their labour in front of me.
I was sipping it holding the cup with my two hands and my entire heart and soul were full of gratitude.
Thank you ????????!!!!!!

Awesome tasting black tea. Has a naturally sweet taste. It almost tastes like malted grains!
