Description
Thurbo Darjeeling 2nd Flush – Rich Muscatel Darjeeling Black TeaThis exceptional Thurbo Darjeeling Second Flush was grown and produced at the fine Thurbo Tea Estate, known for producing some of the best Darjeeling teas in the region. It was harvested at the peak of this year's second-flush season, when Darjeeling teas develop their fullest body and most celebrated muscatel character. These dark, tippy, pointed leaves carry aromatic notes of plum and vanilla, and their careful firing produces a particularly sweet, rich and smooth liquor with a complex flavor and aroma. Once steeped, the red-amber liquid is incredibly smooth, thick and soupy — everything you hope for in a premium second-flush Darjeeling. Tasting Notes
