Description

Our organically-grown Silver Snake Orange Pekoe is a classic Vietnamese green tea. Tea is an important part of Vietnamese culture, as it is infused throughout their history. Today, the Vietnamese believe that tea binds people together and expresses true hospitality; people often invite their neighbors over for quality time spent together over a cup of tea.

Silver Snake Orange Pekoe is harvested from May through October. This traditional green tea is an excellent organic standard OP with twisted, matte green leaves and abundant silver tips.

Silver Snake OP brews a bright golden liquor, one taste will fill your senses with the richness of bold green tea (similar to Chinese Gunpowder green tea), it has rich vegetal notes, a marine algae-seaweed taste, and subtle sweetness. Second and third steepings leave one’s palate with the invigorating fullness of the infusion, and finishes with a lingering smoky ending.

Try Silver Snake OP to discover a unique green tea taste organically grown in Vietnam! Try multiple steeps to explore the fullness of the tea.

This is how to do it:

200ml

Great tea, a little bitter but not unpleasant for me.I like the fact it's a darker green than average and the caffeine levels are just right, perfect for the morning and afternoon

This is my favourite green tea! It's very similar to gunpowder green tea which was exactly what I was looking for. It has a delicious earthy flavour and the bitterness and sweetness are well balanced.

Believe this is THE green tea I'm looking for!! For me, it's not vegetal, but slightly metallic tasting. When I want a robust green, this is it, thanx Tealyra!!

What a delicious tea! I've found the first cup to be gentle, mild, very earthy with light vegetal and sweet notes. Like others have said, the second cup and beyond open the flavor profile a lot. Bitterness increases, as does the vegetal flavors. A smoky taste and mouthfeel are introduced, very reminiscent of gunpowder tea.
