Description

Discover the rare elegance of Yame Sencha, sourced from the esteemed farmlands of Fukuoka Prefecture. Yame tea is a hidden gem of Japan, representing only 3% of the country's total tea production, yet it is revered worldwide for its natural sweetness and powerful "umami" profile.

This region is legendary for producing Japan’s finest Gyokuro, and that heritage shines through in this Sencha. Processed using a prolonged deep-steaming method, the leaves appear as fine, delicate fragments. This intentional technique extracts maximum flavor, resulting in a stunning, opaque emerald green liquor with a lush, velvety mouthfeel.

The taste is a complex masterpiece. Vibrant vegetal notes of fresh spinach and snow peas are beautifully balanced by a unique fruity nuance reminiscent of raspberry. The finish is deeply comforting, revealing warm undertones of dark chocolate and toasted sesame. Rich, creamy, and refreshing, this Sencha offers a texture similar to Matcha, delivering a truly luxurious infusion.

Just fantastic. It is very aromatic, satisfying, and simply divine. It is a bit on the pricey side, but it is really worth it.
