Matcha Chai Latte – Spiced Japanese Matcha with Coconut Milk

Experience the perfect harmony of East meets West. Our Matcha Chai Latte is a bold fusion that marries the meditative focus of premium Japanese matcha with the warming, spicy soul of traditional Indian chai. This isn't your average latte — it's a 100% natural blend designed to invigorate your mind and comfort your body.

We've banned all artificial additives, preservatives and synthetic fillers. Every sip delivers the pure, authentic taste of real spices and stone-ground tea leaves, made naturally creamy with rich coconut milk. By combining two ancient wellness traditions, this blend offers a double dose of feel-good goodness.

  • Matcha, the mind sharpener: unlike coffee, matcha provides "calm alertness." It's rich in L-theanine, an amino acid that promotes focus and relaxation without the jitters, and it packs a powerful antioxidant punch.
  • The spice symphony: ginger, cinnamon and cloves bring warmth and are traditionally valued for supporting immunity and circulation, while fennel and star anise are classic spices for soothing digestion.
  • Black and green pepper: more than just heat — piperine in pepper is known to help the body absorb nutrients.
  • Coconut milk: a source of healthy fats for sustained energy and a naturally creamy, dairy-free texture.

Tasting Notes

  • First sip: fresh, grassy umami matcha
  • Sweetness: rich brown sugar and vanilla
  • Spice: a warming kick of ginger and pepper
  • Finish: floral citrus bergamot with a hint of licorice-like star anise

Why You'll Love It

Matcha Chai Latte gives you focus, warmth and comfort in one creamy cup. It's naturally dairy-free, easy to prepare and full of real ingredients — a wholesome alternative to sugary café drinks.

How to Enjoy

Whisk it with hot water or your favorite milk for a comforting, spicy hug in a mug. For an iced latte, dissolve the powder in a little hot water to make a "shot, " then pour over ice and top with cold water or milk. Refreshing, energizing and totally unique!

If you find plain matcha a bit too 'grassy,' this is the perfect solution. The exotic spices add a complexity that makes it much more interesting to drink. It provides a great, clean energy boost without the jitters I get from coffee. It’s fantastic hot, but I’ve actually started drinking it iced with a splash of honey, and it’s the most refreshing thing ever. Definitely worth a try!

I’m a huge fan of both matcha and chai, so finding them blended together like this is a dream. The matcha is clearly high quality - it has that beautiful vibrant green color and earthy base, but the spices really take it to another level. The ginger and cinnamon add a lovely warmth without being overpowering. It’s my new favorite afternoon pick-me-up

The matcha flavour is as expected—very fragrant spice notes. But I found that the matcha flavour was very faint, and the spice notes have overpowered the matcha flavour and aroma. I love matcha and its umami grassy flavour. I find TeaLyra's ceremonial-grade matchas are excellent for a superior-tasting matcha latte. I will probably try mixing this one and the ceremonial to see if I can get the grassy umami flavour. Other than this, it's a nice matcha for people looking for a different flavour of matcha.
