Our First Harvest Wild Red Buds is a rare and captivating black tea that embodies the untamed beauty and deep-rooted tea heritage of Yunnan’s ancient forests. Harvested from wild, 100-year-old tea trees growing at elevations over 1800 meters in the remote borderlands of southwestern China near Myanmar, this exquisite tea offers an unforgettable tasting experience rich with complexity, nuance, and authenticity.

Each spring, as the mist rises through the high mountain forests, skilled tea foragers climb three-meter ladders to handpick only the very first tender buds from these old-growth wild trees. This labour-intensive process yields only a minuscule amount of tea, making our First Harvest Wild Red Buds an incredibly scarce and treasured micro-lot offering.

The dry leaf exudes a deeply floral, honeyed aroma that hints at the sensory richness to come. Once steeped, the golden amber liquor reveals a refined character that is both vibrant and delicate.
