Description
Hibi Uji Gyokuro – Everyday Umami-Rich Uji GyokuroOur Hibi Uji Gyokuro is grown and produced in Uji, on the southern outskirts of Kyoto — one of Japan's most famous tea regions. Gyokuro is a Japanese green tea that's shaded for at least two weeks before harvest, which naturally increases the chlorophyll and amino acids in the leaf and produces a distinctive, umami-rich cup. "Hibi" means "daily" in Japanese, and this gyokuro is an excellent high-quality, budget-friendly choice for Japanese tea lovers who want to enjoy gyokuro every day. Its flavor is bolder than our highest-grade gyokuro varieties, making it a great everyday companion. Tasting Notes
