Description
Korean Joonjak Plus – Fine Jeju Island Green TeaOur Korean Joonjak Plus is a fine Korean green tea from Jeju, a subtropical, mineral-rich volcanic island known for its fertile soil, excellent climate and lush vegetation — ideal conditions for tea cultivation. Jeju produces many of Korea's most sought-after teas, and this Joonjak is a wonderful example. Joonjak refers to a mid-season harvest of young leaves. The delicate leaves are lovingly twisted, dried and lightly roasted, as is tradition, to bring out their full flavor. Jeju's clean air, pure water and proximity to the sea give the tea tasting notes reminiscent of fine Japanese green teas, with its own gentle Korean character. Tasting Notes
