Description
Fukujyu Sencha – Light, Sweet & Oceanic Japanese SenchaSencha is Japan's most popular tea — a steamed green tea that's typically bright, grassy, fresh and lightly astringent. Fukujyu Sencha is considered one of the finest exported senchas, known for its refreshingly sweet, very light grassy taste. Its bright green leaves are harvested only from the first and second flushes, when the tea is at its most flavorful. Fukujyu Sencha is characteristically light, with very little grassiness. It's sweet and only slightly astringent, but what truly sets it apart are its gentle oceanic notes — savory, seaweed-like, nori-inspired flavors that are soft and complex, adding wonderful depth to the cup.
