Description
Royal Gui Fei Oolong – Honey-Sweet Taiwanese "Concubine" OolongOur Royal Gui Fei Oolong is a distinctive, honey-sweet Taiwanese oolong with a truly fascinating story. During the growing season, tiny green leafhoppers are allowed to nibble the tea leaves. In response, the plant begins a natural healing process that creates sweet, honey-like compounds and starts oxidation right on the bush. The leaves are then crafted using traditional Dong Ding processing techniques, resulting in a tea with natural sweetness and no astringency. Gui Fei, meaning "Imperial Concubine, " is named after the legendary Tang Dynasty beauty Yang Gui Fei, reflecting the tea's elegance and allure. Tasting Notes
